alexandrapatrick snapped up a magical Christmas at the Canterbury Heritage Museum
Visit Canterbury invited alexandrapatrick to photograph a magical Yuletide experience at the Canterbury Heritage Museum.
The challenge was to capture the festive fun – from stalls selling local produce, to a singing Santa in the Great Hall plus hands-on craft activities in the museum’s galleries.
alexandrapatrick snapped up how Christmas has been celebrated in the city from Roman times through to the recent past. Visitors were encouraged to discover Canterbury’s history through interactive displays and listen to fascinating stories from costumed characters who brought local Christmas stories to life.
Duncan Callow photographer said: “This was the first time such an event has been held in Canterbury so it was a privilege to be asked to get involved. The imagery will help promote and showcase the event in years to come”
