Beachside wedding with Indian twist
A chic East Sussex hotel selected alexandrapatrick to help promote its wonderful, seasonal food and elegant wedding offer.
The Gallivant is a beachside hotel nestled behind the dunes at Camber Sands. Just four miles from Rye, its owners have tastefully renovated the rooms and dining areas, brought in acclaimed head chef Bruce Wilson and infused an elegantly nautical theme throughout.
It’s also fast acquiring a reputation as a superb wedding location. With a recently added purpose-built marquee on site, The Gallivant can accommodate up to 150 guests, all of whom are invited to dine on Bruce’s sumptuous sharing wedding platters.
Plus, as a really stylish touch, the staff will lay on a beachside picnic complete with cocktails and canapés served in Tiffin dishes (used in India to deliver lunchtime meals to workers).
To showcase all their wonderful food and wedding facilities, The Gallivant turned to alexandrapatrick’s experienced photographer, Duncan Callow.
He commented: “The owners and staff at The Gallivant are really working hard to deliver an experience that’s a bit special. It was a pleasure to be able to shoot such great-looking, locally sourced food. Our images will help them to promote their efforts, whether it’s for a relaxing weekend away or a stylish wedding.”
