Globe & Rainbow to host Michelin starred Masterchef

For one night only, Atul Kochhar will swap his Berkeley Square base for one of Kent’s finest kitchens.

The chef of Benares restaurant in the heart of Mayfair – also well-known for his appearances on the BBC’s Great British Menu — will lead a hand-picked team in serving up a selection of his finest dishes for guests at the Globe & Rainbow, Kilndown, Kent on 11 May 2011.

Neil Scott head chef and proprietor of the Globe & Rainbow said: “Atul Kochhar is an exceptional chef fully deserving of his Michelin star. To welcome him to our restaurant is both an honour and a privilege. Diners will be able to experience Michelin quality food in our wonderful rural location.”

The Globe and Rainbow is fast developing a reputation for delivering high quality, locally sourced and beautifully presented food. Atul Kochhar is not only a celebrity chef, he’s a regular guest on TV programmes such as Masterchef, Saturday Kitchen and recently on Good Food with “Atul Kochhar Spice Kitchen: Malaysia”.
