Leaving school in style

Just like his dad, Finn Callow has an appreciation for fast, beautiful cars.

So when the most important social date in his school diary approached, his leaving prom, he knew deep down he wanted to arrive in style. In reality he resigned himself to be taxied in his mum’s modest Ford Focus. Not quite so cool!

The Kent primary school prom had been secured in a beautiful countryside location, St. Augustine’s Priory, Bilsington. Finn’s dad was keen to make it a day to remember. And what better way, he thought, than to arrive in an awesome Audi R8 V8 Coup© – the ultimate supercar.

As any car enthusiast is aware, there is more than meets the eye to an Audi R8. It’s ahead of its class, which is exactly how Finn Callow felt when he arrived at his school prom. The sound of the mighty V8 engine certainly turned some heads as East Kent’s R8 swept up the long drive to Bilsington Priory.

When Finn Callow finally learned of his special leaving surprise he gushed: “I feel epic! I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw the Audi R8 and my dad driving it. For once I wanted to get stuck in a traffic jam! This was a perfect end to my school life at Hamstreet. When we arrived at the prom there was a real buzz, my friends were wowed. I’ll never forget that. It’s a dream come true.”

Finn is looking forward to making a fresh start at Norton Knatchbull School, Ashford in September 2012. He’ll be arriving in his mum’s Focus.
